Kerry McIntyre,
Mighty Pen, LLC

Good writing has never been more important. In today’s multimedia world, it’s easy to be overwhelmed with the written word. That’s why it is vital to convey information clearly and concisely. Many organizations are unable to turn their best ideas into action with well-crafted, persuasive writing. There’s no full-time writer. The staff is too busy with their “real jobs”. The subject matter expert is too far up the organizational chart. The project crosses departmental or functional boundaries. The reasons are endless. Mighty Pen LLC is a veteran-owned small business dedicated to helping our clients harness the power of words to put their ideas into action and achieve their goals.

Mighty Pen is led by Kerry McIntyre, who provides a core competency in technical writing, analysis, and planning. Kerry has worked with government and commercial clients to analyze, research, write, design, and publish a wide range of documents. His work includes proposals, white papers, reports and presentations, grants, capital programs, strategic plans, technical manuals, marketing collateral, web copy, policy documents, and legislative testimony.

Michael Jennings-Offen,
Rampant Octopus

Got a show to cut? There is a great deal of the production world that is handled entirely in post. From up-fronts, to branded entertainment and all the way to feature documentaries, in many cases, the best approach to production comes by way of post. Start in post and save money by leveraging existing content, reduce time to complete production, and enhance production by identifying specific needs with a rough cut before rolling camera. Recent clients include National Geographic, Discovery, PixelDust Studios, Sapling Pictures, EarthTouch USA, and Cortina Productions.

The line between production and post becomes increasingly blurred by the day. Commercials, Industrial Film, Social Media vignettes, and a fair amount of mainstream entertainment is being produced solely in post. The right combination of stock, animation, VO, and the necessary “Preditor” produced shoots and interviews can deliver incredible results with minimal budgets. Before your next shoot, let us consult with you to determine if Post might just be your best route through production.

While the focus of our business is Post, production toys are awesome. We love gear, glass, and gadgets; and we’re proud to offer our small arsenal for rent. Available with or without an operator, our gear is low-mileage and lovingly maintained. Editorial, Final Finishing, and Production Rentals; the Rampant Octopus has something up one of its’ many sleeves.
